Description:

The Dental Assistant program is Level I and II. It is a 35-week diploma program registered with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities which meets the requirements of H.A.R.P. (Healing Arts Radiating Protection Act), allowing the graduate to take x-rays in the Province of Ontario.

The program consists of 2 semesters 16 weeks each, with a one-week break between semesters, and 3 weeks of internship during the second semester. Upon successful completion of the Level I and II Dental Assistant program, the graduate is eligible to write the NDAEB Exam. The success rate of our students is consistent with the National average.

This is a full-time program. The student will attend a Clinic Theory class at a local dental office to practice their hands-on skills, such as oral evacuation, instrument transfer, rubber dam application, practical radiography, pit and fissure sealant application, coronal polishing, etc.

    Graduates must have completed Grade 12 or equivalent, with demonstrated English communication and comprehension skills.
