The objective of this program is to equip students with the competencies, theoretical and practical skills necessary to gain employment in the pharmacy environment. Student will develop interpersonal skills as well as a strong sense of responsibility for this client-centered field.
Specific topics covered in this program will be: Introduction to Pharmacy Practice, Human Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology, Medical Terminology, Interpersonal Skills, Communications, Problem solving & Client services, Pharmacology & Pharmaceutical Fundamentals, Pharmaceutical Law & Ethics, Pharmaceutical Calculations, Compounding, Keyboarding, Pharmacy Management Software, and Retail Pharmacy Practice. |
