Description:

Information technology (IT) as defined by the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA) is the study, design, development, implementation, support, or management of computer-based information systems, particularly software applications and computer hardware.

The Post-Diploma in Information Technologies allows students to obtain industry-recognized certification in: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA2), CompTIA3 A+, Project+, Server+, CFOT 4, MCP5, ETA, LINUX (CompTIA), CWSP (Certified Wireless Security Professional), and CWNA (Certified Wireless Network Administrator).

    Students applying for this program should have as a minimum successfully completed a two-year diploma from a recognized postsecondary institution or equivalent in either Computer Science or Business Information Technologies within the past five years, or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience to the satisfaction of the instructor(s).
    Test Scores:
    • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 80] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 550] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.0] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Computer Based) [min. 213]
    Application Notes : Students whose first language is not English must have a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (PBT), 213 (CBT), 80 (IBT), or a 6.0 IELTS score or have successfully completed Level 4, English for Academic Purposes at CNC.
