Description:

Brighton College is a Microsoft IT Academy (ITA) Member. The goal of this program is to train students to an exceptionally high standard in network planning, implementation, administration and support. Through this program students also achieve requisite skills in computer maintenance and management. This diploma is based on industry certification requirements as determined by Microsoft, CompTIA, and Cisco.

This diploma program is instructor-driven, allowing students to navigate quickly through theory and networking software. The curriculum includes experiential lectures and workshops facilitated by specialized industry experts – instructors have relevant designations and are Microsoft Certified Trainer’s (MCT’s) with work experience in the industry. The program also includes practicum at various businesses. The successful completion of all courses (including 5 weeks of practicum) is required for program graduation.

    Applicants are required to have a high school diploma (or equivalent) or mature student status; Grade 10 Math, or pass the college mathematics assessment; and Grade 10 English or pass the college admissions test.
