Description:Do you look up at night and dream of stars and galaxies? Do you wonder about life on other planets? Explore your curiosity with a degree in Physics and Astronomy. With a strong foundation in physics, you'll be equally prepared for careers or graduate school in either traditional physics fields or follow pathways that lead to positions working at some of the world's leading sources of information about the universe.

With a tool kit that includes computer literacy, hands-on labs where you've observed the wonders of the universe first hand, and practical experience through co-op, you'll be ready for your future. With student clubs focused on rocketry and space and an observatory that is open to the public, you'll find other students who share your passion for exploring the cosmos. With the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics within walking distance, you can attend public lectures by some of the world's greatest minds, including Stephen Hawking who has twice visited the institute.

  •  Grade12 Calculus and Vectors 

Two of the following are required: Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Space Science, Mathematics of Data Management, or Physics. Chemistry, Earth and Space Science, and Physics are particularly recommended.

Test Scores:
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) or Michigan English Language Assessment Battery or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration)
