Description:

Are you looking for a career that can make a difference in a child's life, contribute to the well-being of families and advance the future of education in our Province? Early Childhood Educators create a caring and educational environment wherein children have the ability to thrive. They often become advocates for education and childcare on a local and even national level.

The need is always growing for qualified educators in licensed childcare centres, care homes, and special education facilities. Sprott-Shaw has responded by providing a quality ECE Program that will supply you with the necessary training to succeed in this field. Upon completion of this certified and approved ECE Certificate Program, you will need to submit a photocopy of a valid First Aid certificate, official transcript, and a letter attesting to the completion of 500 hours of work experience to the Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Registry in order to gain their license as an Early Childhood Educator.

NOTE: CPR and Food Safe will be completed during the course.
