|In Alberta’s only midwifery degree program, students work with faculty and practising midwives to blend theory with practice while providing care to childbearing individuals and their families. This degree prepares you to become a primary-care provider in the growing field of midwifery. Graduates are prepared to write the Canadian Midwifery Registration Examination (CMRE) and become registered midwives.

Mount Royal has institutional admission requirements which must be met to be considered for admission into our academic programs. Once you have applied and we have received all of your supporting documentation, the Admissions Office will determine your admission category.

|Additional Admission Requirements:||Selected applicants will be invited for an interview that will assess the qualities deemed important in a prospective health professional such as communication and critical thinking skills.
