Provides students with the knowledge base to work as professional members of the health care team and to successfully assume leadership roles as licensed practical nurses.
The primary outcomes of the program are to graduate a practical nurse eligible for registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM) and competent in providing quality holistic nursing care to clients of all ages in a variety of health care settings. Graduates are able to work in collaboration with clients, their families, and other members of the interdisciplinary health care team. |

- Grade12 Precalculus or Grade12 Applied Mathematics
- Grade12 Chemistry or Grade12 Physics or Grade12 Biology
a. High school diploma with
b. English 40S, and
c. Pre-Calculus Mathematics 40S, Applied Mathematics 40S,or Essential Mathematics 40S, and
d. Biology 40S, Chemistry 40S, or Physics 40S;
or equivalencies of above.
Minimum of 60% in each required course, with an overall average of 63%. |
