To be considered for entry into the Master of Dentistry (MDent) in Pediatric Dentistry program, you must meet the following minimum requirements. Please note that meeting these requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the program. EligibilityThe Pediatric Dentistry program only accepts Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada. Educational background- You must be a graduate of a minimum four-year university-based dentistry program.
- You should have at least one year of clinical experience.
To study as a graduate student at the University of Manitoba: 1. You must demonstrate English language proficiency AND 2. You must have a four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized college or university with a minimum "B" average (3.0) in the last 60 credit hours or equivalent. |

Applications for the Master of Dentistry (MDent) in Pediatric Dentistry have one deadline per year and are accepted for July entry only. You must complete your application online, which includes several parts: - Application fee: Non-refundable.
- Official academic transcripts: Provide transcripts from all recognized post-secondary institutions, even if a degree has not been awarded. Scan and upload your transcripts directly through the online application. Transcripts sent directly from the institution are not required until you have been admitted.
- Current curriculum vitae (CV): Upload your most recent curriculum vitae.
- Three letters of recommendation: Request these within the application.
- Biographical sketch: Submit a one or two-page document discussing your educational and career objectives, personal experiences, and other factors impacting these objectives.
- Proof of English language proficiency: Provide this if required.
