Description:

This unique program will provide an opportunity for dentists to pursue higher education and research in the field of Pediatric Dentistry with an emphasis on prevention and public health in underserved and disadvantaged communities (Aboriginal, rural, and urban poor). This masters program will provide eligibility to take the examinations of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC) and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD). During the first two years, patient care will be provided in a modern 5-chair pediatric dentistry graduate clinic with state-of-the-art computerized diagnostic equipment. Graduate residents will also have the opportunity to treat pediatric dental patients in the hospital setting and in local community outreach clinics.

    Applicants must hold a DMD/DDS degree or its equivalent. All applicants must also attend an interview.
