Description:

The Master of Science - Energy & Materials (MEM) is a program designed to prepare individuals interested in developing their technical, business and product development skills as it relates to the production, storage and distribution of energy and materials. Individuals also interested in masters degrees in materials science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemistry, or physics would find the MEM program to be a suitable fit for their needs because of the heavy technical focus of the program while building non-technical skills that are in demand by employers.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    A bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, biochemistry, or materials science from an accredited college or university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Please complete the Graduate Application for Admission including the non-refundable Application Fee and the following:‌ Official copies of all undergraduate and graduate transcripts. A current résumé (1-4 pages). A one-page statement of accomplishments and academic goals- Statement of Purpose Form (608kB) (608kB)‌. Two letters of recommendation from professors or employers- MEM Recommendation Form (76kB).
