Description:

Get theoretical and practical training in the core disciplines of acting, singing and dancing. Through a comprehensive and holistic approach, you'll have classes five days a week, with weekly private acting/singing tutorials. You'll develop professional practices and life skills that will help you become a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional performer.

Five additional Grade 12 subjects at the U or M level; Minimum 65% overall average/ Two semesters of postsecondary education including required English ENG4U or equivalent with minimum 65% overall average.

All applicants whose first language is not English must meet Sheridan's English Proficiency Requirements.

Applicants are required to submit a comprehensive audition. The detailed requirements including submission instructions and due date will be posted in your Sheridan Application Portal. Please note that there is an audition assessment fee. If you do not meet the admission requirements above, successfully completing Sheridan's Art Fundamentals, Media Fundaments or Visual and Creative Arts program with a minimum 65% overall average will help you meet the admission requirements for this program. These programs are a stepping stone to further, deeper study in your field of interest. They introduce theory and practice to students who want to assess their talent, build a basic portfolio or skill set, and chart a course for further study.
