Description:

A Physics major is excellent preparation for careers at non-profit research centers, industry, federal agencies (such as NASA, Department of Energy, Department of Defense), and schools and universities. The program requires that students take courses in physics, theoretical mechanics, electricity, and thermodynamics. Candidates for teacher certification must fulfill all requirements for the physics major for teaching certification.
