| A variety of degree options are available: a major in chemistry (with optional ACS approval if desired), environmental chemistry and several interdisciplinary majors. For those who are pursuing teaching chemistry, a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry teacher certification and a Master of Arts in Teaching (with major emphasis on the academic major of chemistry) is available. In addition to the standard major in Chemistry, an alternate program approved by the Committee on Professional Training of the American Chemical Society (ACS) is available. There is also a course of study with emphasis on Environmental Chemistry available. |
