Optical physics is the study of image formation, diffraction and interference of light, light polarization, optical transformations, and the interaction of light with matter. It has been transformed in recent years with advancements in lasers, holographs, x-rays, and more. SVSU's undergraduate students participate in research opportunities, even at other universities, and have had their work published in top professional journals.
