The Health Services Office Administration Diploma Program (also known as Medical Office Assistant Diploma) was developed to provide students with the proper skills to manage office procedures required to effectively operate a medical office environment. The theoretical concepts, as well as the practical training provided in the course, enable the student not only to acquire the knowledge to facilitate office operations, but, through practical "hands-on" computer training, they are empowered to expedite the demands of the position through the most recent software applications.
The successful student graduates with the knowledge and confidence to remain competitive in the health administrative environment. Students work with various software applications including Able Med, Visual Practice and Microsoft Office Software Programs.
The Health Office Administration Program is a diploma level course approved by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. |
