Our faculty hold professorial appointments across the Faculty of Medicine in the Clinical, Basic Science, Rehabilitation Science, and Community Health sectors. Their research covers a wide range of multidisciplinary research areas in biomedical science, clinical science, population health and health services, bioethics, health professions education and radiation oncology. Within each field, faculty study in such areas as cardiovascular sciences, neuroscience, bioethics, membrane biology, respiratory medicine, & psychosomatic medicine.

Minimum A- (3.7/4, 80% or First Class Distinction) average in three of the four years (including final year) of the undergraduate degree. Generally, there is no direct entry into the Ph.D. program with exception to applicants who already hold a master's degree from a Canadian university. Students accepted into our M.Sc. program may reclassify into the Ph.D. program within 18 months from their registration, if eligible. Students who have been accepted directly into the Ph.D. program must pass a qualifying exam within 15 months from their registration. |
