Description:

The Master of Technology Management (MTM) is an innovative program, the first of its kind in Canada, providing educational and career enhancement opportunities for busy, working professionals. Courses in the program are designed to equip you with the skills to manage the challenges and dynamics of industries driven by technological innovation and to think strategically about issues that encompass the management of engineering technology.

The MTM program will provide you with strategic planning and decision making skills in the context of technology-based organizations. You will have an understanding of the nature, structure and operation of technical operations, and the factors that influence business decisions and success of engineering technology-based organizations.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Admission to the program is competitive. Professionals working in or intending to enter technical management careers, who are considering this program, must meet the general admission requirements of Memorial University's School of Graduate Studies. Applicants must also have an undergraduate degree with appropriate technology and business management courses. A minimum of two years related employment experience is also normally required.
