Description:The Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine provides a program leading to the degree of Master of Science (MSc) in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine jointly with the Medical Sciences Program.     Candidates must hold a baccalaureate or its academic equivalent to enter this program. The Department generally does not accept students with an overall grade point average of less than 3.1 in their undergraduate years at the University of Alberta, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
