Description:

Graduate programs in biosystems engineering focus on applications of engineering in biological systems, including agricultural engineering, biomedical engineering, bioresource engineering and environmental engineering. The MEng degree is intended for individuals desiring an advanced degree with an emphasis on the practice of engineering. It is course-based and requires a minimum of 30 credit hours of coursework. It does not require the completion of thesis-oriented research.

    To qualify for the Master of Engineering in Biosystems Engineering program, you must normally have a minimum of a four-year bachelor's degree in Biosystems Engineering. In exceptional cases, this requirement may be waived by the department for applicants with an undergraduate degree in a related area.
