|This program option begins with a thorough background in the fundamentals of analog and digital electronics, the basics of mechanical analysis and the fundamentals of programming and software design. More advanced subjects include robotics, control, computer-aided design and manufacture, embedded and real-time systems and image processing.
A wide array of electives allows students to tailor their expertise to their interests. Systems graduates will be able to recognize problems requiring knowledge from diverse disciplines, and focus the efforts of multi-talented teams on their solution. They will learn how to translate their unique ideas into the tool manipulations that are utilized to create a finished product. Robotics – the design and analysis of machines that see, feel, grasp and manipulate their environment – is a key theme in this option. Graduate from high school
Your admission average is calculated on six approved grade 12 courses, as specified below.
ENG 4U, MHF 4U or MCV 4U, SCH 4U, SPH 4U, and two other courses coded 4U/4M or DU/DM (acceptable International, Classical and Native Language courses must be completed at the Grade 12 (DU/DM) level)
