Description:

The 12-credit Post-Masters Certificate in Counselling (PMCC) program allows individuals with a master's degree in counselling, applied psychology, or equivalent to develop additional expertise in a particular area of specialization. To form their certificate program, students select four courses from those offered in the area of specialization selected.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    To be admitted to the PMCC program, applicants must have a completed master's degree in Counselling Psychology, Applied Psychology, Educational Psychology, or equivalent; a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 in that master's degree; a graduate or undergraduate course in the following areas: a course in developmental psychology (3 credits), a course in learning psychology (3 credits), equivalent graduate courses to the Stage I core courses from the Master of Counselling program.
