Description:

Welcome to the Post-Masters Diploma: Nurse Practitioner program. Our primary health care program prepares nurse practitioners to diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries across the lifespan in settings such as primary care offices or community health centres. The program does not, however, prepare NPs to work in acute care settings or to focus on a clinical specialty.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    By the application deadline, applicants for admission to the AGD: ANP program must be graduates of a Canadian Master's degree program in Nursing, or the equivalent from an accredited university, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (B) in their Master's program. Applicants must have obtained recently, a minimum of 4,500 verified hours of work experience as a registered nurse prior to application.
