Description:Understand concurrent disorders and their impact on individuals and families, while gaining an understanding of treatment modalities utilized in treating concurrent disorders. Develop an understanding of substance abuse, mental illness, and the use of drugs.

Students participate in field placements in a variety of community organizations. This is a condensed 3-day program to allow for full-time employees to attend program, and is comprised of a balance of in classroom lectures and online courses

    Applicants must have a mnimum two-year college diploma or university degree. Preference will be given to applicants with Human Services, Health Sciences, and Education Diplomas and Degrees (Candidates without the minimum educational requirements will not be considered).
