Description:

Welsh is the strongest of the Celtic languages. It is widely used commercially and educationally by more than half a million people. The modules offered in Welsh teach you to handle Welsh competently, while introducing you to a fine literary tradition. Classes are normally select enough to ensure individual attention from the staff.

The modules in Welsh are integrated so as to educate the student in the Welsh language, literature and culture in a seamless fashion.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Domestic applicants require passes in six subjects (including two at minimum HC3) including: Irish, English, a third language, and three other recognised subjects.

    Grade 12 Secondary School Diploma: The minimum for consideration is minimum score of C in six subjects, which includes a minimum of B in two subjects, with English and specific programme requirements.
