This Intra-Oral Dental Assistant program will prepare students to begin a career in the dental assisting field.
Students will learn how to take and process radiographs, polish teeth, apply fluoride treatments; instruct clients in oral hygiene; place pit and fissure sealants; apply topical anesthetic; apply desensitizing agents; polish restorations; oral irrigation; apply over-the counter whitening agents, or take preliminary impressions for study casts. |
