| Our objective in World Literature is to provide you with the tools necessary to negotiate the global literary landscape and your own position in it: openness, wonder, critical thinking, self-reflexivity, and an awareness of the centrality of translation to all human interaction, whether literary or otherwise. World Literature is a major program in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences; they also offer a joint major with International Studies. You are encouraged to participate in an international exchange and/or field schools to complement your degree. |
