Description:

Statisticians analyze data to glean meaningful information. You'll learn linear algebra and calculus as well as the fundamentals of probability theory, data analysis, and how to use computing and communication in a statistical context. A statistics degree prepares you for a future in a world where organizations and institutions need to hire people who can make sense of vast amounts of data. The Statistics program in the Faculty of Science is administered by the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science. You can start this program at the Surrey campus.
