Description:

Mathematics is the study of quantity, structure, space, and change. Mathematicians seek out patterns and formulate new conjectures which provide the language, reasoning, and analytic tools that many other disciplines use to investigate their areas. In this program the emphasis is on Mathematics and another field of study. For example: Mathematics and Computer Science; Mathematics and Economics; or Mathematics and Statistics.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.

    A minimum average of 80% over the following,

    with no less than 60% in each course:

    • English 40S
    • Applied Mathematics 40S or Pre-Calculus Mathematics 40S
    • One of Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Physics 40S
    • An academic 40S course
