At Aviron Technical Institute, the Welding program is carefully designed to prepare our graduates for employment. within a condensed timeframe, Aviron trains and guides out students in the tasks of blueprint-reading and assembling, in addition to the four categories of Welding and Fitting: SMAW (stick), GTAW (tig), GMAW (mig), and FCAW.

The graduate welder can find work in many fields and industries such as Heavy Industry, Railway, Automobile, Aviation, Garage, Construction, Shipbuilding, Oil Refinery, etc. A large number of past graduates have ultimately started their own independent businesses.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    All students are asked provide basic criteria: a birth Certificate with parent names, a ministry of education school transcript, and 2 small photos (4 photos for Auto Mechanics program). Additional academic requirements apply--speak to councilors for more information.
