Through the Police Foundations program, you will develop the skills and training necessary to deal with the wide range of situations officers encounter every day as well as critical interpersonal, communication and team-building skills.
Today's police services personnel must be able to keep up with the pace and challenges of societal change, keeping in mind integrity, honesty, enthusiasm and maintaining personal, physical and mental well being. Fleming College's Police Foundations program has evolved to meet the changing needs of police services and the communities in which they serve. New and innovative curriculum addresses the increasing role of civilian policing in Ontario, provides specialized training to respond to increasing numbers of mental health calls-for-service and emphasizes the most important skills: the ability to communicate. |
