Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship training is designed to produce individuals who are highly proficient in the practice of pediatric emergency medicine emphasizing the acutely ill and/or injured child. This individual will also be highly competent in teaching pediatric emergency medicine at all levels and would participate and lead in research related to pediatric emergency medicine. In addition, the pediatric emergency resident would be competent in dealing with administrative issues related to emergency medical services for children.
