Subspecialty training in Pediatric Infectious Diseases has been offered at the University of Calgary
Infectious Diseases. Trainees have taken full-time positions in infectious diseases, microbiology, and travel and tropical medicine in Canada and other countries. Currently one or two new residents or fellows enter the program each year. and Alberta Children’s Hospital since 1992. All eligible trainees have been successful on the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons written examination.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Successful completion of at least three years of training in Pediatrics in a Royal College approved program. For foreign applicants, successful completion of entire training program in Pediatrics and eligibility for Educational License in Alberta.
