Description:

As a BFA acting student you will learn the discipline of acting, incorporating a wide variety of skills including movement, dance, singing, voice, and scene study. These indispensable acting tools will be put to good practice throughout your degree and in your final year, performing in the Studio Theatre season as the Department of Drama's resident theatre company.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    You must complete one year (30 credits or its equivalent) of University or College course work transferable to the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta.
    Additional Admission Requirements:
      You must audition for the Department of Drama Acting Committee. Auditions typically take place in mid-February in Edmonton, Vancouver, Toronto, and Winnipeg.
