In addition, credits earned in this program may be applied toward a master’s degree. The CIO certificate program encompasses all competencies cited in the Information Technology Management and Reform Act (Clinger-Cohen) and identified by the federal CIO Council. The competencies cover all areas of management associated with the design, development, acquisition, implementation, planning, and maintenance of an organization’s information technology structure.
