Description:

Students wishing to begin their studies towards Bachelor of Social Work normally request admission to University Transfer, Arts for the first two years, 60 credits, of university studies. Admission to University Transfer, Arts, allows students to choose from a broad selection of liberal arts and social science courses. Upon completion of 60 credits of appropriate course work, students can apply to the University of Calgary to complete this degree program.

Applicants also require four of the following: Biology 30, Chemistry 30, a Fine Arts (only one fine arts subject may be presented), Pure Mathematics 30, Mathematics 31, Physics 30, Science 30, Social Studies 30-1, 30-level language other than English.
Additional Admission Requirements:
    Students pursuing a psychology major must present a minimum of Mathematics 30-2 for admission. If you are considering a major in Mathematics, you must present Mathematics 30-1 and Mathematics 31. For a major in Economics, you must present Mathematics 30-1. PResentation of Mathematics 31 is recommended.
