The English as a Second Language (ESL) program at York College of Business (YCB) is intended for international students who want to develop their English language skills and improve fluency.

Our ESL program focuses on communication and regular student interaction. We include activities, media and instruction that bring 'real life' into the classroom, preparing students for new careers or academic life in business related programs at Canadian colleges and universities. The language levels at YCB are set by the Canadian government for the Canadian Language Benchmarks and also relate to the TOEFL test.
