Description:

The degree of Master of Arts in Political Science can be completed through several different program streams.

• Internship Stream: Our innovative internship program requires students to complete the standard course load with an emphasis on course offerings in public policy and public administration. Students then take part in a four-month paid work placement with government or a private agency. This internship gives the candidate practical “hands on” skills in politics and public administration.

• Thesis/Research Essay Streams: Students choosing this stream are required to complete a standard course load, including two research design and methods courses intended to help prepare them for in-depth research. The thesis or research essay is normally written following the completion of course work.

• Part time Studies: The MA program may also be completed on a part-time basis.
