Description:

Electronic and Electrical Engineers have revolutionised the way we live today. As an electronic or electrical engineer you can design the technologies that will shape our world in the future. Every day we hear of technological advances in the world - from how we obtain and listen to music, to advances in communications such as mobile telephones, the internet and wireless communications, to how we do business in an instant, such as e-commerce.

Electrical and electronic engineers are also developing new ways to solve the world’s energy problems such as harnessing renewable energy sources like wind and tidal power. Electronic and electrical engineers make these advances possible and have revolutionised the way we live today. They harness the movement of the electron and use it to transmit and process information (Electronic Engineering) or to generate and transmit power (Electrical Engineering).
