Description:

Choosing the BA Omnibus is an excellent opportunity to develop or begin a lifelong interest in your subject areas as well as gain important life and workplace. The BA degree programme at UCD is the most diverse in Ireland, offering more than 30 subjects and far greater flexibility in how you take these subjects than in any other programme. Many Arts students will select at least one unfamiliar subject to broaden their experience, ideas and education. There is a lot of choice in Stage 1 (your first year). You will generally study three or four subjects and you may take modules from outside the BA programme area - so you can, for example, develop or maintain an interest in science, business or in other languages. This is one of the great features of UCD Horizons.

After Stage 1, you will choose the subjects that you will take to degree level. You may take your degree in two subjects or concentrate in one subject with a minor concentration in another subject, or in some instances may choose to concentrate on one subject only.
