Description:

Mothercraft ECE graduates are eligible for registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators, Ontario entitling them to become RECEs. With this RECE designation, Mothercraft ECE graduates are currently working as teachers, supervisors, coordinators, and teaching assistants in a variety of early learning settings such as child care centres, specialized settings for children with special needs, after-school programs, nursery schools, resource centres, Ontario Early Years Centres and elementary schools. Some have come back to the Mothercraft College to continue to upgrade their skills through post-diploma seminars and workshops. Others have gone on to other academic institutes to continue towards a Bachelor degree and beyond. The Mothercraft College IS the first step along your chosen path.

Prerequisites:

    Copy of Canadian Birth Certificate or passport/landed immigrant papers if born outside of Canada (Must be 18 years of age); Copy of Educational Transcript from highest level achieved; Applying for Mature Student Status; Copy of Photo Identification (i.e. Driver’s License, Passport); Proof of SIN Card (Social Insurance Number); Two (2) letters of reference (each letter must be in a sealed envelope signed across the closure by the person providing the reference), including contact name and telephone number; Copy of Student Visa (if applicable); and Application Fee.
