Description:

Technology, meet health care. In Biomedical and Electrical Engineering, you will acquire the skills to contribute to life-changing innovations in medical technology. Through specialty labs, you’ll apply theory to diagnostic imaging, sensors and other biotechnology applications. Given its multidisciplinary nature, this program keeps your options open. You can choose to pursue a career in biomedical or electrical engineering, or complete prerequisites for many Ontario medical schools to pursue medicine. Your career: biomedical informatics and telemedicine; biomedical instrumentation and biosensor design; biosignal processing and imaging diagnostic technologies; clinical and health care; general electrical, electronics and instrumentation engineering

    Admission Requirements

    • OSSD with six Grade 12 courses at the 4U or 4M level
    • Prerequisite courses must be at the 4U level with no individual grade below 60%
    • Grade 12 English 4U is recommended for all degrees
    • Grade 12 4U/4M credits for co-op work experience will not be considered as part of the six courses

    • Physics (SPH4U)
    • Calculus (MCV4U)
    • One credit from Biology and Vectors or Earth and Space Science
