Situated on an incredible landscape and coastline, Cape Breton is home to warm, friendly people with a tradition of hard work, respect and commitment to community. Celtic culture courses aim to introduce you to recent and current Celtic cultures and expressions. The curriculum is informed by a close understanding of modern history and beliefs, giving Celtic culture at CBU a unique benefit, offering an alternative to more conventional Celtic studies programs that emphasize studies of early and medieval history, literature and mythology.

Program requirements are as follows: 65% average, English 12 (academic or advanced), and 4 additional Grade 12 academic or advanced level courses.

| Additional Admission Requirements: | If your first language is not English, you will need to provide documentation to show that CBU's English language proficiency requirements have been met. If you have completed at least two years in a secondary school (as recognized by CBU) where English is the primary language of instruction, you do not require a language score. Official documentation, however, is needed.
