Description:

This program is an introduction to a wide range of plants used in all segments of horticulture: trees, shrubs, vines, groundcovers, perennials, annuals, and cut flowers. Plant descriptions include important growing characteristics, landscape function, as well as growing requirements and critical pests and disease. Each week the class will be introduced to 10 new plants, their growing conditions and landscape use. Weekly tests will review the previous week's work.
