Oxford College’s Medical Laboratory Technician program prepares students to become integral members of a healthcare team and work alongside other healthcare professionals. Our program provides students with the technical skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their careers.
As a medical laboratory technician, you will conduct routine medical laboratory tests and set up, clean, and maintain medical laboratory equipment. You will also learn about laboratory safety, medical terminology, infection prevention, and more. In addition to learning an array of technical skills, students will also develop the interpersonal and communication skills needed to offer exemplary client care in a compassionate and empathetic manner. |
