Description:

This one- or two-semester program is for students who wish to pursue a diploma in Science but who lack one or more of the Science prerequisites (Math 536, Chemistry 534 and Physics 534). This program is also for students who have between 60-69% in one or more of their Science prerequisites and need to improve their foundation in Science.

Students take general education courses and a study skills course (Learning Techniques) along with any missing prerequisite and/or bridging courses. Successful completion of the study skills course and prerequisite/bridging courses is a requirement to remain in Pathways to Science in their second semester. Students are required to obtain 70% or higher in their prerequisite courses, and a grade of 60% in their bridging courses to be eligible for the Science Program.

There are no tuition fees for Quebec residents. Non-Quebec residents must pay $912.00 for out-of-province fees.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    At the time of application students must have a strong academic background and cannot have failed or be failing one or more of the Science Program prerequisites (Math 536, Chemistry 534 and Physics 534).

    Applicants who have not studied in Quebec must have scholarity deemed equivalent by the College.
