Description:

Child and Youth Care Support Workers are responsible for counselling children, adolescents, and their families with concerns regarding social, emotional, behavioural, and mental health issues.

Your role will require high levels of compassion and professionalism as you work with other industry professionals to analyze and determine the best course of action for the well-being of children. Eastern College students who take this program with the Addictions Support component will also take an in-depth look at the additional challenges surrounding clients with substance abuse issues and other similar disorders.
