Description:St. Lawrence offers two programs in accounting: Business Administration – Accounting, a three year program and Business – Accounting, a two year program.The Business Administration – Accounting program offers students a more intensive background in financial accounting, corporate finance, cost accounting and taxation during the third year. Graduates can receive course exemptions toward the Certified General Accountants (CGA) professional designation.

Recent graduates of our Accounting programs have found rewarding careers, with Banks and other financial institutions; public accounting firms; and Federal, Provincial, and Municipal government offices.

Admission Requirements

  •  Grade11 Mathematics 

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with the majority of Grade 11 and 12 courses at the C, U or M level including the following prerequisites: Grade 12 English at the C or U level Grade 11 Math at the C, U or M level

Test Scores:
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Computer Based) [min. 213] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 78] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 60]
Additional Admission Requirements:
    Apply to college as soon as the application is available in October. Applications received on or before the Equal Consideration Date will be given equal consideration. This is particularly important if you are applying to a program that is in high demand or oversubscribed; that is, a program for which the number of qualified applicants exceeds the number of seats available. After the Equal Consideration Date, applications are considered on a first-come, first served basis.
