This Sask Polytech Certificate program trains you for an exciting career in delivering pre-hospital emergency care. You'll receive training in recognizing and managing medical and trauma injuries, mental health issues and obstetrical, cardiac and respiratory emergencies. You'll learn how to perform physical assessments of the various body systems and study the basics of pharmacology and more. Graduates are eligible to write the provincial licensing exam for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics.
