Description:

Humber’s Project Management – Information Technology Ontario Graduate Certificate program is designed to equip learners with a practical understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks, specifically tailored for the IT industry. This program prepares them to design, develop and manage information technology projects in a variety of companies and organizations.

Learners will acquire the skills needed to move IT projects from conceptualization to implementation and maintenance using various project management methodologies and frameworks. Throughout the program, learners will immerse themselves in information security management, software management, quality assurance, and organization principles and behaviours, among other areas. Learners will work with agile frameworks, especially those commonly used in the IT industry such as Scrum and Kanban. They will learn to differentiate between traditional Waterfall and Agile project management, and more importantly, understand when to apply each of them effectively in IT projects.
