The Early Childhood Education / Educational Assistant Diploma at Oulton College is a 10 month full time program that trains students to support children’s development from infancy through school age in a variety of education settings, including daycare centers, preschools, and schools. The program combines comprehensive coursework and learning centre operations with an 8 week supervised practicum for real world experience. Students also receive additional certifications to better support children and youth, especially those with varied abilities or special needs. Graduates are prepared to work as early childhood educators, educational assistants, preschool teachers, childcare centre staff, special education assistants, or program coordinators. |

Applicants are required to have a Grade 12 Diploma, Adult Diploma or GED. |
